Q.

Chronic or should i worry

My son''s father has a chronic cough. its a dry cough, almost sounds like he is doing it out of habit.
My son is almost always coughing and i give him meds, it clears for a while and then recurs. He also has nose bleeds from time to time.
Can this be related? Should i take him to a pediatrician?

Paediatrician

This is a rather difficult question to answer without me knowing what is causing his Dad's cough. It could be due to TB or Asthma or even another cause. I also do not have your son's age, but if he is coughing all the time he should be seen by a paediatrician so that a definite diagnosis of the cause of his cough can be made. His dad should also see a doctor.
