child' s behaviour

My daughter is 4yrs old. recently she has been having angry screaming episodes. Minor occurrences seem to trigger them off. She has started a new school this year grd 0. I also have a 1yr old son and she loves him and has adjusted to having him around. She did have tantrum betw 2-3 and they seemed to be going away! The problem is she doesn' t listen to me or calm down easily nor quickly. Do I have to take her to a psychologist?

No you do not need to see a psychologist just yet. First try the time out method. Be sure to tell her in a clear firm voice to 'Stop doing that' when she starts with a tantrum. You must walk away from where she is performing or put her in her room and close the door if she starts with a tantrum.Read more on this forum-there were recent postings on this subject.
