Q.

Child Urine

Hi Doc

my child turned 4 in march.

she is potty trained and wont go to the loo at night. but often times she complains that her vagina is painful. i gave her Alkafizz and so far she is good. but its for kids 6 years i give her small doses.

i am took her to the doctor and gave her suspension medication.

what could be the problem?

It sounds as if your little girl has a urinary system infection.It is very important to test her urine to find out if she indeed has an infection. If she has an infection she should be treated with the correct antibiotic. You must either go back to GP or take her to be seen by a paediatrician.
