Child not sleeping

My LB is 2yrs old in December. He has not slept through since he was 6 months old. We ahd grommets put in earlier this year and have tried several different ways of sleep training. We have now stopped giving him milk at night when he wakes up and he seems to wake up a little bit less. However, he still wakes up and he shoudl be sleeping through by now. The only other thing I can think of why is is still waking up is he might be hungry? Reason being he refuses to eat dinner - I have made him dinner earler and also later. Different types of food, letting him eat himself. I give him 250ml Pediasure to try and make up for it and then he also has another 150ml bottle of milk when he goes to bed. How do I get him to eat more? Otherwise, would a sleep clinic be an option?

Your son is now old enough to join the fanily at all mealtimes. He can sit in his baby highchair and try to feed himself with a spoon.Let him try to copy the other members of the family and do not watch him when he tries to feed himself. He should still have a bottle of milk at bedtime. It may be worthwhile trying the children's Rescue remedy at bedtime to see if this helps him to sleep through.
