It is surprising that your little girl's weight is so good seeing as she hardly eats. Is she drinking a lot of milk? With her poor appetite and if she is drinking a lot of milk she may have an iron deficiency. Ask your clinic sister to check her blood for a possible iron deficiency which causes a form of anaemia. If she has an iron deficiciency she will benefit a lot from having extra iron. Many children of this age do not eat as well as they may have done previously. Do not worry too much. She will eat what she needs. This is usually only a temporary problem and her appetite will return.
