Q.

Child has a lump on her shoulder

Hi All

my daughter has a hard lump on her shoulder, she got this when she went for immunisation it was swollen but now she is 5 years and still has a lump, i think it was caused by immunusation, its not painful its not growing but it feels uncomfprtable,

what is it?
should it be removed?
could it become malignant?

This lump is probably at the place where your daughter had her BCG vaccination soon after her birth.As you say it is not painful and has not increased in size. It is not necessary to be worried about this lump as it certainly will not become mealignant. If it causing any discomfort then it should be removed.
