If you have had chicken pox you will transfer some immunity to chicken pox to your baby. This usually lasts for at least 6 months. If your baby has eczema and is older than 6 months he/she is at risk of chicken pox. Please speak to your paediatrician. If your baby does get chicken pox an antiviral medicine must be given by IV infusion, not orally.
