Q.

Chicken pox

My baby is four months and she has chicken pox (started on Wednesday), the Doc says there is nothing he can give her besides panado and calamine! is it true? The blisters are getting more and more every day and my heart is so sore for her!

There is treatment for chicken pox in babies if the rash is very severe. The medicine is called Aciclovir which is given by mouth and the dose for your baby is 20mg/kg given 4 times a day for 5 days.Speak to your paediatrician.
