Q.

Chicken pox?

I noticed a reddish pimple on my son' s neck one day, and in less than 48 hrs it was a big blister that took about 4 days to heal. Soon thereafter he had about five more of these in the armpit, both sides of the rib cage, at the back. These heal but they leave a scab that falls off after a while. I thought it was chicken pox, but how long does it take before there are no more pimples coming out. It' s been 2 weeks, with one blister appearing and another disappearing. Should I just take my son to the doctor because the pharmasist just gave us calamine lotion and allergex?

This does not sound like chicken pox. Your son may have another condition. Please ask your doctor to see him so that a proper diagnosis can be made.
