Chesty and coughs

There are so many queston posted to you with regards to babies and toddlers chest problems - bronchiolitis and rsv etc. How would you suggest us moms treat our little one? is nebulizing good?

Paediatrician

There is usually no need to nebulise your baby. The most important thing is to keep your baby's nose clear by using saline nose drops. Also giving your baby a mucolytic medicine such as Mucospect will assist in clearing mucous from the airways of your baby's lungs.Viral illnesses cannot and should not be treated by antibiotics.
