Q.

Changing Formula

Morning

My 5 week old baby girl has silent reflux and the paed said to put her on Nan AR, which I did. The Nan AR was not working as per your advice I took her back to her paed. He then put her on Losec Mups. I forgot to ask him if I could now put her back onto normal Nan. Is it okay to do so? She is also very phlegmy and her nose is congested and he said that I should maybe think about putting her on soya. What would your advice be? Also is there any multi vitamin I could give her as my son is in creche and she will be going to creche in April as there is no one else to take care of her.

Your baby does seem to be allergic to milk so it would be best to try her on NAN HA. Now that she is on Losec her reflux will not trouble her as much as previously. She does not need a multivitamin in addition to her formula which is fortified with vitamins.
