Change of Formula... Concerned!

Hi Doc
Will I mess up my 8 1/2 mnth old son' s sysytem if I change from NAN 2 to Lactogen 2. He was constipated at times using NAN and refused to drink. U suggested I maybe try Lactogen.

On Saturday past he had developed a fever of 39.8 and we rushed him to the emgency unit. After examining him dr treated him for tonsilitis. Prescribed Augmentin, Empaped and Ponstan suppositories. His bowel movements were very loose after that and when I gave him the lactogen he refused to drink till last nite when I spoonfed him the milk ,then only he drank but also not much. Although he stil continued to eat very well he drinks very poorly

Thought maybe I should try the NAN today and see whether he drinks. Can I altenate with the milk or must I just continue using Lactogen? He weighs about 8.1 kg ,eats extremely well all the time, his very active and a happy little boy but Im very worried Dr. as he is not picking up as much weight.
Thank u.

If your baby won't take the Lactogen you have no choice but to go back onto the NAN2.Give him a probiotic for at least 10 days and hopefully this will also help to stop his constipation problem.
