Q.

carrots

Dr my son is 17 months old...I' ve noticed that he gets diaree and stomach pain after eating carrots, even a very little bit or even eating food that was coocked in the same pot....Can he be sensitive to carrots? Isn' t this very unusual to be sensitive or allergic to carrots?
Thanx

Yes carrot allergy is well known and is not unusual in children. Your son has a good chance of growing out of this allergy, but do not try and give him carrot until he is at least 5 years old.
