Q.

Candida

My 2 year old son developed a rush around and on his private parts, it is very itchy and he scraches during a nappy change. I have been using Huggies (Gold) ever since and it is the best.

I applied fissan cream and it assisted for 2 days, and now the rush is coming back again. Yesterday the granny took him to the paeditrician who said its candida. What could be the cause.

This does sound like a Candida rash. Use Nystatin cream 3 times a day to treat your son's rash. Also give him a probiotic such as Probiflora Children's for 7 to 10 days.
