My Lg is almost 11months old, and she keeps on pulling on her ears and she " taps"  herself on the head all the time, but it just doesnt seem that something wrong with her. She did have ear infection for the first time about 3 weeks ago, but has been doing this for a while even before her infection and after being treated for the infection, she is still doing it. I have been touching her ears and it just doesnt seem that anything is wrong. is it just her doing that for no reason or could there be something wrong when they do this? I must ad she''s a silent reflux baby and still sleeping REALLY REALLY BAD even with her reflux meds and thicker formula. could her ears be the problem?

Yes your baby could have a problem called 'glue ear'. This often follows after an ear infection has been treated. Thick sticky non-infected mucous remains behind in the middle ear which cannot drain down the eustachian tubes. As this glue ear problem can cause interference with hearing at this critical stage in your baby's language development it would be best to have her ears checked. See your paediatrician first. In the meantime keep her nose clear by using saline nose drops at least twice a day.
