Q.

Can bub become addicted to Trimeprazine?

I use a teething elixir on my 16 motnh old that contains Trimeprazine. I am just worried that there is a possibility that he may become addicted or dependant on it?

If I dont give it to him before bed, he wakes at around 2am and just screams for hours :(

I am very much against using trimeprazine in children of any age. It is very sedating, causing significant drowsiness and may also be responsible for abnormal pulse rates.
