Bump on forehead does not want to heal

Hi Doc, please help me with advice. I have a little girl 13 months she is walking but still wobbly.. she' s very fast when walking and always bumps into furniture, last week she bumped into the corner of a door frame with her forehead andinjured herself. She did not bleed but she has this huge bump on her forehead and it doesnt look like its getting better. Is this serious should i get her checked out??? other than that she is fine she' s a happy baby. No visible side effect other than the bump.

Thanx your advice will be appreciated.

If your baby is doing well and she is happy there is probably no need for concern. Sometimes if your baby bumps her head hard like this there is some bleeding under the membrane of the skull bone in the forehead. This kind of bump takes a long time to disappear but is not harmful.

My son is gonna be 14months on Saturday and is exactly the same, you technically described him to the t.
My sons blue mark bumps turn green then yellow and takes about 2 weeks for all evidence of a serious bump to disappear.
