Bum blisters

Hi Dr. My 2 month old baby has been getting red sores around the vaginal area and bum which come and go constantly. They look like blisters almost. I have been using a healing cream and thrush cream but it keeps returning. A friend said she thinks my baby is " sour"  inside. Could I give a little epson salts or what would you advise?

This rash does not appear to due to thrush. It also has nothing to do with your baby being sour inside as this does not really happen. So do not give her Epsom salts. What is needed is a diagnosis of your baby's rash with these blisters you mention as there are several possible causes including herpes virus. Please ask a paediatrician to see your baby.
