Brown eyes

my 4 year old son is Asthmatic,an currently he is on a singulair treatment for almost a year now.Recently I`ve noticed that the colour of his eyes have changed from normal to brown and its getting worse everday,I have discussed this with his Paeditrican and she told me that its because of the allergy since he is Asmathic, and I dont have to worry or take him to a optometrist, she then prescribed eye drops and she said he will be fine, its been a month already and I don`t seen any difference. Please advise me

Is it normal for his eyes to turn brown bcos of allerrgies?
Will his eyes go back to normal?
Must I consult an Optometrist?

I presume that you mean that the white parts of your son's eyes have changed to a brown colour. This is due to an eye allergy and is called ''vernal conjunctivitis''.Smoke and dust of any kind can aggravate this eye problem. From what you write here, the anti-allergic eye drops have not helped so far. It would be best to take your son to be seen by an eye specialist known as an ophthalmologist, Do not take him to an optometrist for this eye condition.
