Q.

breath holding

2 and a half yr old son kicked his toe really hard was not worried till picked him up writhing on the floor he was purple and stomach hard eyes open bulging shook him gently thankfully he started breathing again and all was fine. should i be worried? is the first time.

Your son had a typical breath holding attack. These attacks are common at this age and usually follow on a sudden fright or a minor accident like hurting a toe.Your son will grow out of this but they may happen again for a while still. He will always start breathing again by himself. You should just blow gently on his face if he has another breath holding attack in the future.
