Rather take the Vitamin B according to the dosage recommendation on the bottle. Once a day is sufficient.

The way you eat doesn''t affect your breastmilk - even starving women in desperate situations produce good quality milk with the same nutrients as moms in developed countries eating a healthy diet.

However, it will take its toll on you. Perhaps, instead of trying to force down large meals you could keep some yoghurt and fruit and nuts on hand to nibble on during the day so that if you do feel a bit peckish you can eat that.

There is no need to eat extra food while breastfeeding, most of us are getting quite enough anyway. The additional kilojoules it takes to make milk is about the same as eating one extra sandwich a day, so not worth stressing about eating more for.
