Q.

breastfeeding

hi there

i" m not sure if i should be asking you this question or a lactation consultant...
but my baby is 5 months and 1 week and has been both breastfed and bottle fed. I breastfeed in the morning before her first nap and evening at bed time and once at night. recently, everytime i put my baby down for a feed she cries... but if i give her the bottle she''ll drink it...

where have i failed... i feel so bad that she doesn''t want the breastmilk... is this a good time to wean her off?
i actually wanted to feed her breast milk as long as possible.

You should certainly try to continue breast feeding your baby for as long as possible. It probably would be best to consult a baby clinic/breastfeeding clinic for advice.
