Q.

Brain Damage

What can cause brain damage?

My friend works at the Paed. Neurologist office and said there are many brain damaged kids coming in and I wondered what could be the cause of this.

Despite what your friend has told you, fortunately it is extremely rare for children to develop brain damage these days. There are several possible causes such as meningitis in infants [now rare] for example. I do not want to frighten parents reading questions on this forum by giving any other possible causes.
