You start gradually, a clinic nurse suppose to help you on this.

I started by first replacing one feed (breast) with bottle(150mls) the first took 2 hours till he gave up and stopped fighting, I did that for 1 week, then replaced another feed in week 2 and so forth, so by the fourth week he will be having four bottle feeds, and I eventually upped the 150mls to 250mls until he turned 8 months I brought it down to 200mls per bottle. He is now 11 months and a bit has 3 bottles of 200mls and I have replaced his one feeding with yogurt and it looks like he doesnt like purity anymore and has decided on his own he likes normal table food, his own choice wasnt a forced thing.

I also replaced the 3am feed with water, a good way to enforce the sleep through the night although my son still gets up, but he is still teething and rather spoilt for my arms..........all my fault!!!

Hope this helps

We struggled a lot, and she eventually started drinking after a week. We even used a dropped just to get some fluids into her. Some people have some luck if someone other than the mother gives the bottle, and the mother leaves the house while they give the bottle. We also tried different type of bottles. Some kids would drink out of sippy cups or Energade bottles instead of the bottles.
