this is going to sound terrible, my son has just turned 4. i have been trying for the last year and a half to get him off his night bottle. it ends up in screaming shouting and tears. my fiance works long distance so it hard, i have a 10 month old that he wakes up with crying and screaming.
its not from thirst, its just the sucking he is after.
i have tried taking it away (this wakes up the baby) putting water in it, everything. its enough now, pleas help

Obviously your son needs to come off his bottle now. It is such a habit with him that it is going to be difficult.Explain to him that 'big boys' don't still drink out of bottles at 4 years. Try using a star chart and promise him a reward if he can go 5 nights without his bottle. If he achieves this then double up the time to 10 days and so on until he has forgotten about his bottle. The main part of his problem now may simply be attention seeking and trying to be like the baby in order to get your attention.
