Q.

Bottled water - can babies systems cope with it?

Dear Doc

I have heard that bottled mineral water bought in the shops is not suitable for making formula milk. Apparently babies systems cannot cope with some of the minerals found in the water. Is this true?

We are going to the North West Province for a week and I am unsure about the quality of the tap water at the holiday resort. Is it better to use say boiled Valpre for the week, or should I just contine to boil tap water as per normal?

Many thanks

You do not need to take bottled water with you. Boiling the tap water there will be fine.
