The fact that your daughter has body odour is often the first sign of puberty. At 8 years she is very young to be strating with puberty and if she has indeed started then this is known as precocious puberty. Has she developed any other signs of puberty such as early breast development? If she has it would be a good idea if she was checked by your doctor to be sure that all is well.
