Q.

Blotchy rash all over body

I noticed earlier today a blotchy rash all over my daughters body there are some raised bumps. She has not been sick lately and the only irritation is the itching. What could this be.

This sounds like a rash called urticaria or hives which is usually due to an allergy. The most common causes are reactions to antibiotics or other medicines, allergy to foods and colourants or preservatives in foods and insect bites. Give her an antihistamine such as Allergex Syrup 5ml twice daily until the rash clears.
