Q.

blood clots in newborn

Dear Dr, my cousin just had a baby boy, he weighed in at 5.3kg - i know this is large. He is still in hospital because when he was born his right arm was blue and she was told he has a clot in the arm, since then they have picked up another clot near/or on his kidney. today she was told that he has to go for an angiogram, this sounds so serious and i was wondering if this problem has a specific name? is this common? would appreciate any help you can give us. Thanks Lulu
