Q.

Blocked Nose - TREATMENT?

My 4 month old baby has a badly blocked nose. The mucus running down his throat is making him nauseous. He vomits balls of slime at night. He is struggling to swallow his milk and does not get much sleep - which upsets him terribly. I am using Chamiflor saline spray and Illiadin to clear his nose but it doesn't seem to help for long. Will a Vicks Vapouriser or normal humidifier help? What else can I do to help? Baby joined a creche last week - how can I build his immune system to prevent him from getting sick all the time?

You need to stop all of these treatments and only use infant saline nose drops at least twice a day to clear his nose. If it does not help after 2 days please ask your doctor to see him.
