Blocked Nose

MY LB is 12 weeks old today and is breastfed. He seems to have a blocked nose and night time its probably worse. I used the Saline Drops and the Illiadin Pead drops prescribed by the doctor. Not working. Somebody told me to use the half of a quarter of an ACC tablet. Can I be giving adult meds to a small baby. What are the risks.

Do not give your baby the ACC tablet. You should only be using infant saline nose drops for your baby's blocked nose now, nothing else. If he has lots of nasal mucous you should suck this out with a device called the Nosefrida. If his nose does not respond to this treatment your baby should be seen by a paediatrician or by an ENT specialist as he is extremly young to have such a blocked nose.
