My son is 13 weeks old and i''ve noticed that he''s got blisters on his lips. I was using sweet oil to keep his lips moist as they''re constantly dry but he licks it. What causes them, is it related to the milk (he drinks NAN Pelargon with an orange tin) and how do i treat them.

This may be due to a reaction or allergy to the kind of teat on your baby's bottle especially if it is made of latex. Also sometimes babies may develop blisters on their lips due to a milk allergy. So change the kind of teat to another brand which should be the silicone type.Change his formula to a low allergy formula such as NAN HA1.

Thank you. I''m currently using NUK and Dr Brown''s teats as i was told and read that they are the best for babies. If i have to change which ones should I start using?
