Hi Doc

My poor baba up until 3 weeks ago everything was perfectly fine and then it all started......
My son is 8 months and a bit, 3 weeks ago he started bleeding from his penis on and off I consulted with my paed telephonically and he didnt exhibit any symptoms of fever or infection, took him to see paed a week later, a urine test and nothing, another week later and still bleeding almost every second day and booked him in for ultrasound and MCS tests, nothing this was last week so now he has an appointment on the 12th to see a urologist.
Yesterday I noticed the tip of the penis a little swollen and tiny pimples, you have to look really hard otherwise it looks just red. Last night it just looked red (could be lighting). Strangest thing is he has stopped bleeding since last wednesday when he went for the tests, but still taking him to see urologist., It seemed to stump my paed, just wanna know your thoughts.
At the moment he is teething badly and has the flu, the last couple of nights I have had no sleep, he ends up constantly crying and flapping his arms around (trust me I get a few klaps as he sleeps with me once he as awoken crying initially) and if theres a sudden movement he starts crying, I think he is in pain but from what, the flu, the teething, or penis problem or night terrors..could be all?
Thank you for the time taken to respond!

I am not happy with your story about your baby's bleeding from his penis as this may be due to a bladder or kidney infection. He must be seen by a urologist. Now he has a bad cold and you need to keep his nose open. Use Salex nose drops 3 times a day until his cold is over.He may need some Panado as well if he has a fever.
