Bleeding on baby''s brain

I recently took my baby into hospital as she had a convulsion only on the right side of her body, previously to this she had only had two heat convulsions they had to drill holes in her skull as they thought that she had fluid on the brain. When the operation was done they informed us that there was also blood on her brain, both old and new blood . . I have a feeling that she could have been hurt at creche because her little keybone (collar bone) had been fractured the second week that she was there and she did not want to be picked up. Before that she has never been injured. What could be the cause of the old blood on her brain?? Could it have happened at birth? Is this possible??

This is a very disturbing story indeed. To be absolutely honest it appears that your baby has what is known as non-accidental injuries. It seems almost certain that she has suffered physical abuse. The doctor who examined her should immediately notify social services and a charge must be laid against the creche owner.
