Bleeding nose

Please advise what the cause is of bleeding nose in toddlers (3yrs). It doesnt happen too often, but when it does, its really a lot of blood. Last night in the middle of the night, he woke and his face and bedding was covered in blood, but he was very calm. When should one be concerned?

The most common cause is bleeding from an area in the mucous membrane of the nose where the blood vessels are rather fragile. It would be best to ask an ENT specialist to see your son as he may need this problem to be treated.

Hi My Son Bleeds at night and this was not a concern until we noticed this happened almost every night. He would wake up with lots of blood on his face. We first thought this was due to dry weather and got the aircon on a low temp but still didn''t help at all. what can be done to stop this?
