Q.

Bladder Infection

My litte granddaughter(4 years old) complained the other day when she wees that it is saw. We caught some of her urine in a bottle and took it to the doctor for testing. He said there is a light infection and gave antibiotics. She did not complain again. Now he phoned this morning and said we must take her to an urologist because he sent the urine away for testing and is not happy about the infection. Could this be something serious

Paediatrician

You do not need to take your daughter to a urologist. She should first be seen by a paediatrician and all the results of her urine tests musy be taken along with you.
