Q.

bladder infection

Good Morning, We have an 11 month old baby boy. He didn,t sleep very well last night, when I changed his nappy (03:00am) his penis was sort of erected and he looked uncomfortable. Our docter told us we should never try and pull the foreskin back to wash the penis. My mother in law seems to think it could be a bladder infection, should i take him to a docter, we are on holiday. Everyrhing is back to normal this morning and he has urinated.

Your son does not have the symptoms usually found with a bladder infection especially a high fever. He seems to be quite happy again. Do not pull his foreskin back when washing his penis.
