Hello doc. My daughter is 1year and 8 months. Recently she has started biting her nails, to the finger and I was wondering if I should have any concern abouth this or whether its some new habit?

This is a habit and one that is very difficult to stop. Most of the usual treatments do not help for children of this age. The best is usually just to ignore your little daughter's nail biting and with time she will just stop on her own.
