Q.

Betamox/Milk products

My grandchild of 23 months is currently on betamox sf susp for middle ear infection as well as tonsilitis. Now some-one said that we should avoid using milkproducts while she uses the antbiotic- is there any truth in it ?
She does not want to eat at the moment and she is very fond of yoghurt. so we want to try and she if she will eat it.

Thank you

There is no truth to this and your little granddaughter can still have her milk and dairy products as well. She will also benefit from being on a course of probiotics for 10 days.
