It is not the asthma treatment that is causing your son to wet his bed. Many children of this age still wet their beds. This seems to be a bit more common with boys than with girls. Try to encourage him to stop wetting his bed by trying the star chart method first.Tell him that he will get a gold star which you will stick on a chart for each night that he can go through without wetting his bed.If he can get 3 stars in a row he will get a reward, something small but something that he really likes. Once he can get 3 stars in a row increase the number to 4 stars, then 5 and so on until his bedwetting problem is a thing of the past. If the star chart method does not work continue to let him wear trainers at night and when he is 5 years old he can be treated by his doctor. There are excellent treatments available for bed wetting.
