Q.

Battling to sleep

My Ten months old Baby is battling to sleep it' s been a week and a half now, could it be due to teething or an ear infection as i see him always trying to put his finger in his ear as if it' s itching. Last month he had bronchopneumonia and was given antibiotics he reacted to the medices and developed a rush on his face and an ear infection. We were given medicines for the ruch and ear infection if im not mistaken for the ear infection we we given ponac suspension. He can' t sleep, once the soother fall off from his mouth he starts crying this goes on for almost the entire night i always make sure that he is well fed before he sleep at night and he drinks his milk well during the night. Please help im now exhausted and need a good sleep.

You and your baby are both not getting enough sleep. He seems to have an ear infection now and should be seen by his doctor again. Is he at a creche as he seems to be getting ill often? You should give him probiotics to boost his immunity.
