Bad rash all over baby' s torso

My 9 month old son has developed a very bad rash on his torso, which is not going away. When he was six months, we changed him to NAN HA, following your suggestion, after he had developed a bad rash and runny time with the introduction of solids. His diet is also egg free. He has been fine for until 2 weeks ago. He had his 9month shot last week, Wednesday, and his rash just got worse. I took him to the paedatrician on Monday, and he took some blood to run allergy tests, and he also precribed Dulocort(sp), but I cannot see any improvement. I have now started using Epimax Plus for both bathing and moisturing, and also using Rooibos for his evening bath. Waiting for the results seems to be taking all my patience. What else do you suggest I do to make things better?

It seems that your baby has developed quite severe eczema now.The mainstay of treatment is to use moisturisers. After bathing him with Epizone E , apply Epimax to his body.Wait for the allergy test results which usually only take a few days to come back. I suggest that you make an appointment to see a paediatric allergist. There are experts in all the main centres in SA.
