It is unusual for young children to have bad breath. When young children do have bad breath it is important to find the reason. Your daughter's bad breath does not appear to be due to any tooth decay.Other causes are persistent mouth breathing due to a blocked nose or infected tonsils.Sometimes children push a bead or a peanut or even a small piece of paper up one of their nostrils and this can certainly cause bad breath. It would be best to ask your doctor to see your daughter and to try to find the cause of her problem
