Q.

Bad breath

Good day,

My son is 20 months old and has a stuffy nose (with yellow/brown mucous) and has been coughing for the past few day. I also noticed that he has developed bad/smelly breath. Is this due to the cold? Should i take hm to the doctor? He had a fever on Sunday night but nothing since then.

Thank you.

You son may have bad breath because his nose is so blocked and he has to breathe through his mouth. Try to clear his blocked nose by using a Sterimar nasal spray twice daily until he is over this cold. Once his nose is open again his bad breath should disappear.
