This usually happens in young children who breathe through their mouths. If your son has a blocked nose use saline nose drops or spray to clear his nose.Another possible cause is tonsil infection, so if his bad breath continues after you have tried the saline nose drops or spray then he should be checked up by a doctor.

My boys breath was also bad when his sinus was blocked, after antibiotika and illiaden spray it was much better.
