Q.

Baby''s Weight

My baby is 9months old and weighs 6.5kg. Her birth weight was 2.78kg. She is breastfed &  tends to be a fussy eater, having mostly cereal. How much weight is she supposed to pick up monthly? Also how many meals apart from her breasmilk is she supposed to have? How much food should she consume at each mealtime? Please advise, I''m beginning to stress out.

The average weight for a baby girl of 9 months is 8kg.Your baby's weight is well below this average. It would really be a good idea for you to attend your nearest baby clinic for advice. You will also get some useful information on this website: www.purity.co.za
