Baby''s testicles

Good morning Dr,

I just saw my baby (1year, 1 month) with a swelling testicles and it was not looking painful as I touch it and he was even playing normal and after two weeks.. last friday it swelled again. What can this be? is it something big or is normal? Please help!

This sounds as if your baby has a fluid hernia which causes these symptoms. It is not a serious problem and it can easily be treated by a paediatric surgeon. Please ask your paediatrician to see your baby son.
