Q.

baby''s feet

Dear Dr,

My 16 month old daughter''s little toe on each foot turns inward (so that the nail is facing outward on the side of her foot). Will this correct itself or should I see a specialist? She started walking at 12 months and does not seem to be in any discomfort. Her feet have been like this since birth.

This is very common. Her small toes should return to the normal position with time as she continues to walk. She should only wear shoes that allow plenty of space for her toes.
