baby' s weight

hi my baby is 10 months old we went to the peadiatrician and my baby weighed 7.89kg the dr i should not worry myself my baby' s weigth is perfectly normal she' s very active and that she' s happy with my baby' s development should i be worried about my baby' s weight she' ll be 11 months next week, oh she weighed 2.8kg when she was born.

She started off on the 25th percentile for weight at birth [in the lowest 25% out of 100 babies]Her weight still falls on this 25th percentile so she is following this growth line very closely. She is well, happy and developing normally so there is no need for concern. She seems to be following some family pattern as far as her growth is concerned.
