Q.

Baby' s milk teeth rotting

My baby of 11 months old has started teething some months ago, but her two front teeth are rotting and it really has me worried. Can it be caused by the formula that she is taking, because she is drinking her bottle right through the night.

This usually is caused by certain fruit juices. Some fruit juices are very acid and damage the tooth enamel. Another cause may be due to taking medicines in syrup or liquid form. It would be a good idea to ask your dentist to see your baby. In the meantime it will help to prevent further damage if you brush her teeth regularly.
